They say it's your birthday!!

I don't know how many of you like the show The Office? I really don't care for it but a couple of nights ago Susan was watching it. The episode was about the office "celebrating" Michael's birthday. It was actually pretty funny. You need to watch it because I can't explain it. Michael brought in donuts and stood by the box announcing to everyone that someone brought in donuts for his birthday, so that people would say happy birthday to him.

Regardless, Susan encouraged me to write about my birthday, which is today! I am so happy to be here! How blessed am I.

It has been quite a year and I, Susan am celebrating that Mike was born. He was and still remains the best gift that I have ever received. When we got married we decided that we were not going to buy each other presents for occasions because we WERE each others gifts! nothing else could even come close to what we had in each other. I still feel that way, even though as gifts we are less than perfect, sometimes talk back and don't always shine so brightly as a beautifully wrapped package. I'm the winner on Mike's birthday because God gifted me with him. I don't know what we are going to do tonight yet, we kind of had our big yahoo the last 10 days in Maui...but all the kids are coming over Saturday morning for a birthday breakfast feast.

Let's all celebrate Mike and the day he was born! Life is a precious gift, and my life is richer and better with Mike in it. The last 7 years have been the best of my life, because of the gift of my Mike.
