Please Pray

As we were leaving our home yesterday to get in the car for the final week of treatment, the dog sat down on the lawn and wouldn't come to us. He laid down on the lawn as if to say "I'm not going!" His actions spoke for us  all, none of us were ready for yet another week at Stanford. Gently we had to drag him to the car and reluctantly he got in. (both mike and the dog)

PRAY!!!!!!! and PRAISE GOD at the same time!!!!!!
Chemo is done this week, and radiation ends today!!!!
Typically chemo, is very hard on Mike. He gets violently ill, and nothing we've tried stops the vomiting. Mike is already in a weakened condition and the pain in his throat is very uncomfortable. It's a job for the Lord, so if you could call out to God interceding for Mike. Let's pray in one accord and make heaven shake with the sound of His people as we ask that Mike would not get sick from the chemo.
My Jesus, My Saviour
Lord there is none like You
All of my days, I want to praise
The wonders of Your mighty love
My comfort, My Shelter
Tower of refuge and strength
Let every breath, all that I am
Never cease to worship You

Shout to the Lord, all the earth
Let us sing. Power and majesty, praise to the King.
Mountains bow down that the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name
I sing for joy at the work of Your hands
Forever I'll love you, forever I'll stand
Nothing compares to the promise I have in
YOU!

We are praying and trusting with you that this round of chemo will be the easiest yet. We pray against the side effects...God is so much more powerful then the chemo, it's nothing for Him to do.

The song playing on my Ipod right now is "Jesus Your Name"...the words are "Jesus Your Name silents the storms, driving the trouble away..Jesus Your Name has stood in my place freed me from hopeless shame, Jesus Your Name stood in my stead...Oh the Powerful Name."

So Jesus we are saying Your name on Mikes behalf today...stop the chemo from ravaging his body...let your healing powers flow through him. Amen.

We love you...
