I wish we could report that Mike is better today or that he had a better nights sleep, but last night sleep didn't come and he is weaker still from the vomiting and fatique. We know you are praying which brings us great peace and comfort. Your prayers sustain us. We could never do this without you.
This morning the Lord brought this verse to mind:
"He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He promised He was also able to perform" Romans 4:20-21. Yes, we are focusing on the Lord today. Focused on the Lord's promises to us and depending on His strength. We are practicing not wavering, which is not easy when you get tired. We are tired physically, and we are determined to focus on praise and our hope in the Lord to keep our minds from going to the squirrelly places that a tired mind can go ( I can have some crazy thoughts!). The Lord is so faithful. When I find my mind going crazy, I love how the Lord will bring a scripture or a song to my mind, or someone will call or pop by and encourage us. The Lord knows just what we need at any given moment and we will continue to HOLD FAST and rest in Him in the midst of this storm.
We love you guys, Susan and Mike

Mike and Susan, Though we don't know each other, I'm blessed by your example of faith. May God continue to give you peace and comfort, rest and joy, hope and strength.

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." John 16:33

Mike,
I thought and prayed most of the day for you. Since I am in Spain and there is the time difference I realized that I should be praying for your rest. My day is your night. So, I'll take the night shift and pray for your rest: relaxation, clear breathing, and rejuvenation. I am praying that this cancer will disolve. So tonight get some good rest. Enjoy some thoughts of sunny days, blue skys, azure blue seas, and walking in the hills on the Costa del Sol. The wildflowers are incredible here. I have never seen so many different species.
Leave the worry to him. I heard that verse once or twice. It is a good one.
I should be getting back sometime after your treatments. Know someone is praying the nightshift for you.
I had sent this message before. It didn't seem to go. If it shows up again as a second then you just have to consider like my prayers; I'll just keeping doing it till I get it right! I love you.
