Boost, drink of champions!

The countdown has begun, only 12 more treatments to go. The excitement is building and it has given Mike a new found energy. Our daughter Rachel's birthday is Saturday and Mike and I went to Stanford shopping center for a little bit to buy her a gift, then yesterday evening he joined family to celebrate my brothers birthday. HE was pooped out last night, but as you can see from the pictures we took, he looks amazing! He had a great nights sleep.

Mike has decided that he knows exactly why the Israelites complained when all they had was manna to eat. Mike's only sustenance the last two weeks is BOOST Plus chocolate drink( this will be his food for the next 6 weeks or so) We have tried a varied array of different things to switch it up, but BOOST is the one. We need to buy stock in the company at this point, he has to drink 7-8 a day to maintain his weight and energy. This week we bought out the supply at more than one store. The good side of it, he doesn't have to wonder what is for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
We're headed home to Modesto today and looking forward to seeing all our friends. This ride we are on is crazy, wonderful, and painful all at the same time. Just when we think we are getting tired and worn out, the Lord encourages us again. Staying focused on the promises of God we set our hope on Him, the author and perfecter of our faith. Waiting on HIM to fulfill HIS purposes and plan in our lives.
" and so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise." Hebrews 6:15
Hold Fast, the Lord is going to bless you!

Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And HE shall strengthen your heat; Wait, I say on the LORD!

p.s. i remember drinking boost when I was pregnant sick--but nothing like 7 a day! Good for you Mike! You are a better person than me :) I struggled to do one a day!

At first I was going to suggest we all get on the wilderness trail with you and go on a Boost fast, but then the Californians would use up your supply. But we can do other fasts, just not for six weeks. It's good to see you doing and looking so well. We're praying everyday for your miraculous healing.

Aloha from Maui,

Good to see you perking up. Will keep praying for your rest during my day. I got an email from Martin Manley. He says he remembers steeling orange 76 balls then blowing them up with firecrackers with us. He said to say he was pulling for you.
