Yesterday the effects of chemo hit ..Mike was feeling worse than "yukky" and lost his energy along with feeling very sick to his
stomach, but it's all good, his sense of humor and sarcasm is
intact! After much prayer and a little help for sleep, Mike slept most of the night and we were up and ready for today. He still feels junk, but is doing it again today with a good attitude and minimal complaining. The upside to this radiation is that he is getting a tan face and looks like he still lives on Maui! Thank you for loving us and praying

Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vine; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation. The Sovereign LORD is my strength! He will make me as surefooted as a deer and bring me safely over the mountains. Habakkuk 3:17-19

Hang tough Mike and Susan. You are having to walk through the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights like Jesus did, but He is with you. He's walked your walk before you and will be your companion. Our hearts are with you too.
Love, Joe and Karen
