Wiped

We are wiped out today, but glad to be home. Each day when Mike comes out of radiation he feels worse than the day before.( good thing he only has 1 more left) They are cooking him, and he is well done! No longer able to drink enough to keep himself hydrated, he now needs to go in every other day to receive fluid for a few hours through an IV. Each day has it's challenges and as the time goes on we are not laughing as much, but we are always on the look out for something funny.(feel free to send us jokes or funny stuff to look at)
We know that this too will pass, but we are tired and ready for this to be over.
His mercy and strength are sufficient for the day and new every morning..........
"Because He lives, I can face tomorrow, because He lives, all fear is gone, because I know He holds my future, and life is worth the living, just because HE lives!"( yep it's a song)
On the bright side, all our children are going to be here at one time in another 10 days! To be together is a great time and an instant party.
Please pray that Mike's mouth and throat would heal quickly, and that he would be able to eat and drink.(It takes all he has to get down the 7 BOOST drinks each day)
Pray that chemo this next week would not make him so sick.

Was praying for you during Kit's message tonight. Gave Sam a hug before he left, so he can pass it on to you, from me.

Hi Susan

Okay, so you said you wanted a funny story.... We have a short team from Big Valley here in Africa, and Emma (who is 10 now) told the whole team, "Mommy said Papa and Ita would only come if they had more babies, and mommy wants more, but you know (whispering) Daddy had THE SURGERY, so they can't have anymore. I guess Papa and Ita won't come now." Do you know what it's like to have ten college-aged students know your reproductive status??? yeah....

Love you guys and are praying for you! - Angela
