"He can see the light that is coming for the heart that holds on, there will be an end to these troubles, but until that day comes, still I will praise YOU, still I will praise YOU. singing Oh no, YOU never let go, every high and every low, oh no YOU never let go, through the calm and through the storm, oh Lord you never let go of me!" ( a song we both love)
We sing a lot to each other. In fact when Mike and I were dating he used to sing to me over the phone, and every morning until he lost his voice he sang in the shower(one song after another)
We love music.
About yesterday, we spent the day at Stanford: Mike had radiation, then they refit his radiation mask (another 40 minutes with the mask on and strapped down) he was then hydrated for 3 hours(through an IV)and then a hearing test( how much more hearing has he lost?) and then home...we were there from 9-4:30pm. Long day, but it was good...we were together.
My mom is here visiting fixing me dinner each night, it's very nice, otherwise I wouldn't take the time to cook just for myself. One of those love things that I so appreciate! (pictures of Mike, mom and I)

we miss you guys! can't wait to be with you soon. Mike may not be looking in top form but Susan you look great! Love the hair!
Prayers to you guys...
Michele and I were hiking yesterday in the hills here. Lots of avocado trees like La Habra. I wondered how far it was we use to hike up to East Rd and the golf course so I googled it. Your kids will like this. Google "1037 Hacienda Rd. La Habra, CA 90631". Click street view and pan to the right. It looks exactly the same.

Great Pictre...
Susan, your hair looks great...not to browm...!!!
I read your blog yesterday...ith's funny..I just downloarded that same song yesterday morning on my Ipod. Christ is the Rock we must all stand on...and as my music was playing this morning, it went to "I Love to Tell The Story, of Jesus and His Love". What a story you and Mike are going to have to tell when this is all over. I see God holding you up and I see you both holding fast to Jesus.
We love you and keep you always in the for front of our prayers.
hugs..

Susan...great picture..!! You and your mom are so cute.
Your hair looks great too. Not too brown.
I read your the blog you did yesterday and it's funny...yesterday I downloaded the same song you were singing.."On Christ the Solid Rock I stand". This morning the music was playing and went to "I Love To Tell The Story, Of Jesus and His Love"...what a story you and Mike are going to have to tell when this is all over. A story of God's faithfulness and stength.
We love you and keep you at the for front of our prayers.

Mike, hold fast - His hand does not weaken or get tired or bored or fidget. He does not sleep. He is holding on to you. You are His and you are precious to Him - IN HIS GRIP. We are praying! Suzi
Woo hoo - 13 days. less than two weeks.
I love God's timing. I sent a card yesterday & mentioned the song "never let go".
I love you both & I'm praying for you & your families daily
Joke for the day - A friend and I stayed at a Chicago hotel while attending a convention. Since we weren't used to the big city, we were overly concerned about security.
The first night we placed a chair against the door and stacked our luggage on it. To complete the barricade, we put the trash can on top. If an intruder tried to break in, we'd be sure to hear him.
Around 1 a.m. there was a knock on the door. "Who is it?" my friend asked nervously.
"Honey," a woman on the other side yelled, "you left your key in the door."

I can't wait to harass you again.
I miss you!

Hey Mike & Susan
Love you both so much. I love that song you never let go...one of my absolute favorites.
The times we hung out with you two made a huge difference in our lives and marriage. Lord willing there will be alot more where that came from!
Mike there is a short list of guys who randomly call me for no other reason then to find out how I'm doing and to encourage me. Thank you for that. Praying and missing you...and also missing Susan's cooking and Banana bread!

13 days to go! I'm going to do a little dance for you. ;) I love the pictures. I get excited every time there are new ones. The Magna Doodle was a hard one to see (although Steve's artwork was grossly great..ha!). Regardless, I hate vomit and to imagine Mike so sick is a sad thought. But once again, his humor is refreshing, and his smile warms my heart. What a good sport! You both are such an inspiration. Please keep the pictures coming, they make you guys seem so much closer. Miss you both.
Hugs-n-kisses-n-lots-o-misses,

M & S,
Can I just tell y'all how bloody much I love this blog? If you ask me, it's a durn fool way to get peeps to write to you and encourage you by gettin a big ol' dose o' the big C! But whatever does it for ya! I love you both dearly.
Ya know, having been rejected by my hub, down thru the years I've tried to rationalize that I'd rather he'd walked out the door like he did, than have to possibly nurse a sick (old) man if we'd stayed together. Looking at y'all -I'm eating some serious crow now, I'm gon tell ya what! In almost 22 yrs of wedded bliss :-) I never experienced the love y'all have. However, I do have guilt pangs that some of the results of your suffering could bring such a sweet aroma to me. Contrary to the song, "Love Stinks," it smells mighty fine to me. You guys are somethin! I adore you. I mostly like to give you something to laugh about but I'm gonna fess up to something that's both embarrassing and wondrous at the same time and it will make you smile with perhaps some tears of joy. Yeppers, how long have I been a Christian? Great long time, but just this week I'm going, "Eureka, I GET IT!" That would be the simple Sunday school truth that all the "little things" I see and acknowledge that God does are the things that build my faith to trust He'll take care of the big stuff. Most times I feel silly wanting to share some small thing that I realized was God's doing. Those little things in my world build my faith to know that if He cares enough to do the small, piddly stuff He surely CAN & WILL take care of the BIG stuff. If He only did big stuff for us we might get the idea that we couldn't bother Him with the small things!I'll chalk it up to being 57 and gray (still hiding it), getting old, losin teeth and can't eat the meaty Word - I'm back to milk and pablum - baby food. But I know you'll be glad to know that sista here finally gets it. It's so humbling to own up to this but betta late than nevah, baby! I'll never forget you two sneaking out in the bushes there at church, nah, just kidding, it was the fridge. Y'all were so deliciously cute and in love and I wanted me summathat! I'm better as a spectator at the game of love so I'll continue to enjoy watching you. I love me some Jesus. I love me some of you two.
Many warm hugs,
LoveOn
